Warranty Coverage
Muscle Power warrants eligible commercial truck tires against defects in workmanship and materials during the original usable tread life of the tire, down to 2/32" remaining tread depth, or within 7 years from the tire manufacture date, whichever comes first.
If an eligible Muscle Power tire becomes unserviceable due to an approved workmanship or material defect, Muscle Power will provide an adjustment toward a comparable new Muscle Power tire, subject to the terms below.
2
First 50% Free Replacement Warranty
If an eligible Muscle Power commercial truck tire becomes unserviceable due to an approved workmanship or material defect during the first 50% of original usable tread life, Muscle Power will provide a free replacement tire of comparable size and pattern.
The free replacement applies to the replacement tire only.
The customer is responsible for all other charges, including but not limited to:
- mounting
- balancing
- valve stems
- disposal fees
- service charges
- labor
- freight
- taxes
- Federal Excise Tax, if applicable
- downtime
- towing
- road service expenses
3
Prorated Warranty After First 50%
After the first 50% of original usable tread life has been used, and until the tire reaches 2/32" remaining tread depth, approved workmanship or material defect claims will be adjusted on a prorated basis.
The prorated credit will be calculated based on the percentage of original usable tread remaining at the time the tire is submitted for inspection.
No warranty coverage applies once the tire reaches 2/32" remaining tread depth.
4
Definition of Original Usable Tread Life
Original usable tread life means the original tread depth of the tire minus 2/32".
Example: If a tire has an original tread depth of 29/32", the original usable tread is:
29/32" - 2/32" = 27/32" usable tread
The first 50% of usable tread would be:
27/32" x 50% = 13.5/32"
In this example, the tire would remain within the first 50% free replacement period until approximately 15.5/32" remaining tread depth.
Remaining tread depth will be measured at the time the tire is submitted for warranty inspection.
5
Proof of Purchase and DOT Date
Proof of purchase is required to verify the original purchase date and warranty eligibility.
If proof of purchase is not available, the tire’s DOT manufacture date will be used to determine warranty eligibility.
The DOT manufacture date is identified by the last four digits of the DOT code molded on the tire sidewall. The first two digits identify the production week, and the last two digits identify the production year.
Example: DOT XXXX XXXX 2623 means the tire was manufactured during the 26th week of 2023.
If no proof of purchase is provided, Muscle Power will calculate warranty eligibility from the DOT manufacture date, not from the date the customer claims the tire was purchased.
6
Casing Guarantee
Muscle Power commercial truck tires are built with strong casing construction and are designed to support multiple retread cycles when properly maintained and operated in approved service.
Eligible Muscle Power casings are guaranteed for up to three retread cycles when the casing becomes unserviceable due to an approved workmanship or material defect.
This casing guarantee applies only when:
- the tire was properly maintained
- the tire was operated in approved highway service

- the tire was not damaged by road hazard, impact, run-flat operation, improper repair, or misuse
- the casing was inspected by an approved retread facility or authorized Muscle Power representative
- the tire is within 7 years from manufacture date
This warranty does not guarantee that every casing will be accepted for retreading. Retreadability depends on the condition of the casing, service history, maintenance, and inspection results.
